Hello, I returned it because it was the opposite of what I needed for my old Mac studio display monitor to work with new Mac Mini. The gentleman I emailed with correctly identified what I did need, based on photos I sent... I found it on ebay, as Kanex doesn't make/carry it. Thank you.

Works as expected, when it works.... It worked fine at the first time I connected my digital-only LCD monitor via this product. At some point later, OS went to sleep mode and so did the monitor. When OS wakes up, the monitor does not. During several subsequent attempts to get the image to the monitor, the monitor presence was detected perhaps 40% of the time. Never after sleep mode. Eventually I turned the sleep off in the monitor and turned it on/off manually. This worked for 2 days, then again no image to the monitor. Now I don't even try anymore.

1. To connect my iMac to my Wacom tablet. 2. Easy and simple and efficient. 3. nothing 4. I appreciate that the packaging mentioned "gift" and a value of $5, so I did not have to pay any other taxes. I found it a bit expensive, the packaging and delivering ant it took a bit of time. I can say that i am very satisfied with the product and it deserves a 5 stars. Thank you! Sorry for moy English.

I used this to connect my Macbook Pro to a Wacom Cintiq 18sx drawing tablet/screen. It works perfectly, the connection is strong and secure. I guess it'd be nice if the cord was a few inches longer, but it's a standard adapter length so I have no complaints on that.

1) This is used to connect an older monitor to a Mac Pro Tower that only has one VGI output and two thunderbolt outputs. 2) It seems pretty sturdy. 3) none - Too early to say. I only used it for a couple weeks. 4) Way over packaged for something as trivial as an adapter. Granted, certainly it is good quality, but it is a waste of paper and plastic.

1. I use this to Connect my MacBook Pro to an 18' Cintiq SX 2. Ease of use- just plug it in 3. I don't think its your product, but my Cintiq loses its calibration data when in sleep mode, meaning that the monitor either has to be turned off and on, or use a mouse to drive to the calibration controls. Mildly annoying, but not a deal-breaker. 4. This product was recommended by Wacom, and I appreciated the recommendation!
